Uplifting Lives Service Ltd is a person-centred service provider for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health disorders, and continuing health from 18 to 65 years in the community and home care for adults. Our support services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Our services empower people with various morbidities. This is a 24-hour service with a focus on forensic history, behaviour that challenges services requiring attention and treatment and care services for people at risk of coming in contact with the Criminal Justice System, Autism Spectrum Disorders etc from the age of 18 to 65 years in the comfort of their own homes and home care for adults.
The quality of our care is in service delivery where we recognise our service users’ needs. We then provide a range of creative tools to uplift their gifts and talents to the best of their ability by adopting the culture of the following approaches:
Holistic: This value recognises that each person has unique needs and preferences, and provides personalised care and support that considers the whole person, rather than just addressing specific issues or concerns. This also involves considering our service user’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and creating a care or support plan considering their unique circumstances.
Humanistic: This emphasises the value and dignity of every individual. Our focus is on the needs, desires, and aspirations of the people we support rather than simply providing basic care and support. As such, we recognise that each person is unique and treated for their strengths, weaknesses, and preferences.
Therapeutic: There are various therapeutic approaches/models used in Domiciliary, Supported Living, Live-in, Sit-in, and Complex Needs services or care dependent on personal needs such as Positive Behaviour Support/Progression/Cognitive Behaviour approaches or models etc
